Ragdolls come in a variety of colors & patterns. They are a pointed breed meaning they have a lighter body & darker points like the ears, face, legs, & tail. The color varietys are Seal, Blue, Red, Cream, Chocolate & Lilac. In these colors you will see them with beautiful blue eyes.
Sepias Ragdolls: Sepias are a result of breeding a Mink to a Mink. They will have gold or green eyes or a variation of somewhere in between. The Minks on the other hand should have an aquamarine color eye. Shades of eye color vary a lot in all breeds of cats. Sepias & Mink Ragdolls are darker in the colors listed above.
Lynx pattern (meaning striping on forehead & around the tail. White eyeliner and a charcoal nose). Tortie (meaning any of the colors with orange) & Torbie (Lynx&Tortie)patterns. The Mitted Ragdoll will have white boots of course & could have a blaze of white on the face. The Bi-Color Ragdoll has a white "V" on the face in the color and patterns listed above. Along with white feet, legs, underbelly & lower neck.
Ragdolls are one of the worlds largest domesticated cat breeds. Females range from 10-15 pounds & males 15-20 pounds or more! They are a slow maturing animal. Reaching full coat color at around two years, weight around four. Ragdolls do not have an under coat making them less prone to shedding and more hypoallergenic. Also they don't require such grooming like let's say the Persian.
